This is one of my favorite cathedrals: It doesn't seem to carry quite the same weight of time that others do (maybe because it's late gothic rather than high or early gothic; a couple hundred years less may make a difference) and its sanctuary seems brighter, cleaner, sharper. It's situated in the middle of a great grassy plain; the city never built up right to it so it's able to be seen on approach from all directions. It can breath a bit. If you ever are able to visit, look for the aviator angel statue...
